PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for a rotating body decreased in size and cost and formed such that a shift in a color hardly occurs without remarkably increasing the sizes and cost and to provide a color picture recording device using the drive device. SOLUTION: In a drive device for a rotating body to transmit a drive force from a drive source to a body of rotation through a gear train consisting of a plurality of gears to rotationally drive the rotating body, gears used in at least a part of the gear rows are constituted such that a plurality of the same gears are overlapped with each other so that the gears are brought into a reverse phase and are acted as one gear. |
