SOLUTION: The snow melting regions F on a roof material 1 with electric heating bodies H laid thereon are divided and disposed in a plurality of partial snow melting regions F extending in the left/right direction of the roof gradient direction and dividedly disposed in the vertical direction, the electric heating bodies H are separately laid on the respective partial snowmelt regions F, and the respective partial snow melting regions vertically disposed in the roof gradient direction are divided into group snow melting regions composed the partial snow melting regions positioned at some intervals apart. This device is provided with a power feed control part 2 alternately feeding the power to the electric heating bodies of the divided respective snow melting regions G at some time intervals.
