PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating system in which water in and out of the system is balanced, coating density is kept constant, and the collection of a coating material to be brought out to the last water washing system and conservation of water are made possible. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition coating system is composed of a means for spraying water on the surface of an object to be coated before coating, an electrodeposition cell for depositing an electrodeposition coating film on the surface of the object, a means for water-washing the coated object obtained, a route for collecting waste wash water, a filter for separating the coating material in the electrodeposition cell into concentrated liquid containing the coating material composition and filtered water, a means for introducing the concentrated liquid into the electrodeposition cell, a means for dividing the filtered water into two parts, a means for introducing one of the divided filtered water into the means for water-washing the coated object, and a means for introducing the other of the divided filtered water into the means for spraying water on the surface of the object before coating.
