METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FLYING INSECT IN OPEN AIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a flying insect in the open air to minimize the damage from the flying insect for a prescribed time for the purpose of keeping the environment of the action of a person hygienic and comfortable when the person carrying out the outdoor action. SOLUTION: This method for controlling the flying insect in the open air is characterized in that a chemical-carrying body obtained by allowing a carrier to carry a chemical composition containing a pyrethroid-based insecticide which has >=0.1 mPa (20 deg.C) vapor pressure and activities for killing the insect by the vapor is sprinkled on a solid surface of the environment in which the insect flies.
