PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of an electrical double-layer capacitor which is capable of surely preventing an electrolyte from leaking out even if the electrolyte is high in wettability. SOLUTION: A first electrode terminal 10 provided to the outer periphery of an opening 2a so as to cover the opening 2a of a bottomed cylindrical case 2 which houses an electrode element 3, a second electrode terminal 11 provided on the inner peripheral side of the electrode terminal 10 separating from it with a prescribed space, and an insulating sealing member 12 formed of a glass fiber-containing resin molded body which is insert-molded between the first electrode terminal 10 and the second electrode terminal 11, are provided. Ribs 14 and 17 which are extended downward from the bottoms of the electrode terminals 10 and 11 protruding in the axial direction of the case 2 are provided. The bottom of the rib 17 of the electrode terminal 11 is located above that of the rib 14 of the electrode terminal 10. The insulating sealing member 12 contains the ribs 14 and 17 and chemically bound to an organic compound layer formed on the surfaces of the electrode terminals 10 and 11. The organic compound layer is formed of a silane coupling agent or triazine thiol derivatives. |
