<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting apparatus for a cinerary container, capable of remarkably reducing the arrival time to an altar booth of the cinerary container for the second and following visitors so that the moment the visitor arrives at the altar booth, the visitor can pay reverence at the altar, so as to pay reverence without losing his/her serious feeling. SOLUTION: The transport apparatus for containers for storing the ashes of the dead is provided with a storing device for keeping the cinerary urn, at least one part for paying reverence, a transporting device for transporting the storing container between the storing device and a designated part for paying reverence, and a control device for controlling the operation of the transporting device. The control device controls the drive of the transporting device according to the route of the storing container calculated by an arithmetic means. The control device controls the drive of the transporting device so that after the storing container related to the preceding paying is transported to the altar booth, the storing container related to the next praying is transported through the transporting device to make the visitor wait at the back of the altar booth.</p> |
