<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle unit for a toll collecting system capable of reducing a possibility of a failure in automated toll collection and reducing a possibility of danger such as a vehicle accident by a human error. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle unit for a toll collecting system includes a radio communication controlling part 1 mounted on a vehicle for transmitting and receiving data with an on-road unit through an antenna, a human interface 4 for receiving information and inputting operation by a driver, an external interface 6 connected to the vehicle for obtaining operation information of the vehicle, and a microcomputer 2 for controlling the radio communication controlling part 1, the human interface 4, and the external interface 6, and automatically executes a toll collecting process with the on-road unit. The microcomputer 2 notices or warns to the driver through the human interface 4 when vehicle instruction information obtained from the on-road unit and operation of the vehicle obtained from the external interface 6 are different.</p> |
