PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device freely controlling a plurality of light emitting parts having different light distribution characteristic with simple constitution and also realizing miniaturization and the reduction of cost. SOLUTION: This stroboscopic device has an AF circuit 3 measuring the subject distances of a plurality of positions, a plurality of xenon tubes Xe L and Xe R having different light distribution characteristic respectively, and a CPU 1 controlling them. The CPU 1 decides the number of light emitting times of each of the plurality of xenon tubes Xe L and Xe R in accordance with the result of range-finding by the circuit 3, and performs control to make the xenon tubes Xe L and Xe R emit light alternately by the decided number of light emitting times. |
