PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit with which images can be displayed simply at the same time. SOLUTION: The integrated circuit 120 has a function of processing reproduced data (storage information) of a DVD 101 and a function of processing internet information (external information). In the case of simultaneously processing a DVD and internet data, video data from a processor 129 are used to simultaneously display two images. The processor 129 obtains video data obtained by respectively decoding reproduction data of the DVD and the internet information to display a reproduced image of the DVD on an entire monitor screen and video data used to display an image relating to the Web page of a prescribed Web site on the entire monitor screen, video data to display a compressed image by applying, e.g. interleave processing to video data with respect to an image displayed on a slave screen and generates video data to simultaneously display two images, by compositing video data to display the compressed image with video data relating to an image to display a master screen.
