PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device where a time lag is reduced by shortening a warning that it is in the midst of charging a stroboscope further and with which photographing is easily performed. SOLUTION: In the midst of continuing charging, display showing that it is in the midst of charging such as flickering or the like is performed until the charging voltage of a capacitor attains 3rd voltage (280 V) 20 V lower than attaining 2nd voltage (300 V) at which light emission can be performed, and the display showing that it is in the midst of charging such as flickering is stopped when it attains the 3rd voltage.
