PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a high-quality product of a ferrule which is used for a multifiber type optical fiber connector and a device having two or more fibers and is conventionally substantially impossible to be manufactured. SOLUTION: A large number of metal thin plates are prepared each having pores formed in desired positions with high dimensional accuracy by the techniques of photoresist processing, blanking process or the like by using metal thin plates. Then a plurality of the above porous metal thin plates are stacked and fixed by welding, adhering or the like, and then finished by polishing or the like to manufacture the multifiber ferrule.
