The topology is in the form of a full bridge rectifier whose transistor switch pairs (T1/T2;T3/T4) are decoupled by two diodes (D1,D2), whereby two switches (T3/T4) can be used as step up and half-bridge rectifier transistors. The component cost of the full bridge rectifier can be reduced by a transistor switch and free-running diode.
