PURPOSE: A condenser body direction checking apparatus is provided to reduce parts count and manufacturing cost, while improving productivity by preventing erroneous operation of condenser. CONSTITUTION: A support(41) is installed to be rotatable at a support frame(11) of a main body(10) of a condenser connection leg welding machine, and a rotating shaft(42) has a lower end coupled to the support. Grippers(43) are installed to be rotatable, in front and rear of a cross type bracket which is arranged at the top of the rotating shaft. An elevating member(44) for closing or spreading each gripper is arranged at the center of the rotating shaft. A rotating rod(45) is installed at the elevating member, and a hydraulic cylinder(46) is installed beneath the support. The condenser body feed direction is checked by the electrical power applied to the condenser body being held by the gripper. When the condenser body feed direction is wrong, the support, rotating shaft and the gripper are rotated by 90 degree, to thereby turn the condenser body into the correct direction and feed the condenser body to a welding unit. |
