PURPOSE: Provided is an efficient transformation method of plants, especially soybeans by using an Agrobacterium to introduce a recombinant gene and high quality transformants produced thereby. CONSTITUTION: The efficient transformation method of plants is characterized by the steps of: selecting half of a seed, which has been germinated for a day, as a target tissue; wounding the target tissue with a bundle of needles; introducing a target gene, bar gene, by using an Agrobacterium; inducing redifferentiation of a cotyledon fragment; and selecting a transformant.
