SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONVERTING IPV6 CODE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically converting an IPv6(Internet Protocol version-6) code are provided to make an application being used in an IPv4 network by automatically converting an IPv4 socket API code being used in an IPv4 network into an IPv6 socket API code. CONSTITUTION: A data decision unit(51) judges whether IPv4 input data supplied as a conversion object from an IPv4 network are a file or a directory. A line extracting unit(52) extracts contents of a file inputted from the data decision unit(51) according to lines and transmits the contents to a token creating unit(53) successively. The token creating unit(53) reads each line information supplied from the line extracting unit(52) by one character, parses whether the corresponding character is a character which is used in a variable or a function structure or an operator or other character, and creates a token corresponded to each line. A mapping table(55) stores each IPv4 socket API and IPv6 socket API information corresponded thereto. A token comparison unit(54) compares each token information inputted from the token creating unit(53) with IPv4 key data in the left list of the mapping table(55). A code conversion unit(56) connected to the token comparison unit(54) and the mapping table(55) performs an IPv6 code conversion based on comparison result information from the token comparison unit(54). A line creating unit(57) creates IPv6 socket API data of one line corresponded to one line information extracted by the line extracting unit(52) based on code conversion information output from the code conversion unit(56), and transmits the data to a data output unit(58).
