Housing (1) comprises a housing bore in which the bearings of a shaft are fixed so that the shaft rotates in the housing. The bearings are fixed in the housing by a form-locking connection (11, 22, 24, 25) produced by deformation work. Preferred Features: The form-locking connection is a clinch connection. In the assembled state deformed housing material engages in a form-locking manner in an undercut contour formed on the outer-lying sleeve surface (21) of the bearing. The housing forms part of a motor-driven pump unit.
