PORTABLE COMPUTER HAVING ROTATIONAL DOCKING CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: A portable computer having a rotational docking connector is provided to maintain a connection by preventing a connector trouble of a portable computer caused by an inaccurate insertion of a connector and decreasing an EMI(Electromagnetic interference) effect caused by a bad connection. CONSTITUTION: A docking connector(120) is connected to a connector of an expansion system. A housing has an opening at the rear surface thereof for exposing one end of the docking connector(120) toward an exterior. A rotating shaft(122) mounts the docking connector(120). An angle adjusting unit is provided for adjusting an angle of the docking connector(120) which is rotated on the rotating shaft(122). The angle adjusting unit comprises the first elastic member(124a) which is mounted at the inner surface of a portable computer and elastically supports a body shield bottom surface of the docking connector(120) and the second elastic member(124b) which is mounted at the inner surface of a portable computer and elastically supports a body shield upper surface of the docking connector(120). In addition, a rear bracket(110) is mounted at the rear surface of the housing. A plate(128) is provided for a ground connection of the rotated docking connector(120) and the rear bracket(110).
