An induction heating and control system and method have enhanced reliability and advanced performance features for use with induction cooking devices (figure 1), such as induction heating ranges. Enhanced performance is facilitated via the use of an induction heating system (1010) which integrates voltage management (1003), power management (1003), thermal management (1004), digital control sensing (1005) and regulation systems (1002), and protection systems management (1008).
