The invention relates to a cutting tool (1), in particular an auger, comprising a shaft (2) and a working piece (3), whereby at least one cutting edge (8) is embodied on the front face of the working piece (3)and at least one drilling (4) is provided in the front face, the axis of which is parallel to the axis (5) of the tool or at an angle of, preferably, 0 DEG to 20 DEG thereto. By means of the above a cutting tool, in particular an auger may be produced with which the working step of chamfering can be carried out more easily and quickly, without the risk of clogging the cutters. |
