PURPOSE: A highly oil-absorbing warp knit fabric having a multilayer structure containing polypropylene as a main material is provided. Therefore, it is fast in installation and recovery, has high oil absorbing speed and retaining capacity, thereby quickly performing initial controlling of oil spill at sea. CONSTITUTION: The warp knit fabric having low production costs and high durability is prepared by knitting a three dimensional warp knit fabric with four bars(L1,L2,L3,L6) or five bars(L1,L2,L3,L5,L6), wherein a polypropylene yarn is knitted with all the bars such as L1, L2 bars which form a surface structure(2) directly contacted with oil, L6 or L5, L6 bar which forms the backing structure(3) of an outer side and L3 bar which forms a pile structure(1) between the surface and backing structure, and a polypropylene yarn or polypropylene flat yarn of 80/12 to 300/60 is knitted with L3 bar.
