Locking device for foldable backrest has roll element on locking projection which can roll in guide groove

The locking device has a locking projection (2) sprung against a counter-element. This projection has a roll element which can roll in a guide groove, which runs at constant radius round the folding axis (2b). The groove is in a fitting (3) one the seat region, opposite another fitting in another seat region. Both these fittings turn round the folding axis.
