摘要 The invention relates to a method for calculating the product of a first (F) and a second (S) binary number. The first number (F) results from the concatenation of a first constant A and a first variable X of u bits, all the bits of first constant A being equal to 1. The second number comprises s bits. The product results from a series of operations, the most complex of which is a multiplication of u bits by s bits. The invention also relates to a device comprising means for carrying out said method. The invention is particularly suitable for cryptography.
