<p>A light-weight and highly safe bumper lean hose having a closed cross section of generally B-shape and used for increasing the safety of a car by increasing the rigidity of the body of the car or absorbing an energy at the time of collision, characterized in that a hardening treatment is applied thereto to increase the tensile strength of the material after forming in the steps of deeply drawing a steel sheet so as to form a hat shape at the sectionally center part thereof, trimming the outside thereof excluding unnecessary portions, press-forming a rise part at both sectional ends thereof, press-forming an L-shaped slanted rise part at both sectional ends thereof, pressing the steel sheet from both sectional sides thereof and then from the upper side thereof, and welding a connection part.</p> |
