PURPOSE: A method for processing swash plate and swash plate compressor with variable capacity using the same are provided to improve productivity of the swash plate. CONSTITUTION: A compressor includes a front housing(24) and a rear housing(25) having a cylinder(23) having a plurality of bores(22) formed thereon and forming a crank chamber(24a), an intake chamber and a discharge chamber; a driving axis(26) installed to the front housing and the rear housing to rotate; pistons(21) installed on the bores, respectively, to rotate; a rotating body(27) placed in the crank chamber and installed to the driving axis to rotate together with the driving axis; and a swash plate(28) joined with the rotating body by a hinge device(30) to reciprocate the piston and having a penetrating hole(40) formed on a central part thereof for the driving axis to penetrate so that DS is smaller than DH and DH is equal to or smaller than (DS/cos alpha)+1.0mm where DS is a diameter of the driving axis, DH is a diameter of the penetrating hole formed by a single process and alpha is maximum slope of the swash plate.
