The invention concerns an assembly comprising a cooling module (4) provided with at least two module elements (32, 33) and a frame (6) provided with at least two frame elements (35, 36) adapted to co-operate with the respective module elements to fix the module rigidly to the frame. The elements are designed such that a thrust on one surface of the module (4) designed to be oriented towards the vehicle front causes at least one of the module elements (32) to be separated from the corresponding frame element so that the module remains fixed to the frame with one degree of freedom.
