Disclosed is a fixing device for securing an actuating cable on a shift actuator or the gearbox of a motor vehicle, comprising an enclosing end piece (5) surrounding said actuating cable, and a receiving element (6) accommodating said enclosing end piece on the shift actuator or gearbox. The fixing device is characterized in that the enclosing end piece (5) has a peripheral groove (13), and the receiving element (6) has at least one projection (16,17) which is engaged in the groove when the actuating cable (1) is secured. The fixing device is further characterized in that the receiving element (6) is provided with at least one spring element (7,8) which is arranged on a plane which is parallel to the plane of the groove. The inventive configuration makes it possible to introduce an actuating cable into a fixing device, irrespective of the rotational position thereof, and to secure said cable. |
