<p>An antibacterial composition which contains either or both of a calcium oxide/α-amino acid chelate compound and a calcium hydroxide/α-amino acid chelate compound. It contains calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide, which have antibacterial properties, or a mixture of these in a high concentration, and the pH of an aqueous solution thereof is low. The antibacterial composition is obtained by reacting calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, or a mixture thereof with an α-amino acid in the presence of water.</p> |
