<p>A system for discounting charge by advertisement in which the charge for a commodity or service is discounted if the customer views/reads an advertisement during the time that the customer wastes while the commodity is made ready to be sold or the service is being provided, specifically, while the customer is waiting during refueling or until the table is set, thereby differentiating the provider of the commodity or service. The charge discounting system (1) comprises a portable terminal (M) and a server (S) communicating with the portable terminal (M) by radio. An advertisement is displayed on a monitor (M3) of the portable terminal (M). If a customer who wants to buy a commodity or to be provided with a service views/reads the advertisement during the time while the commodity is made ready to be sold or the service is being provided, the charge for the commodity or service is discounted by a predetermined amount and the discounted charge is outputted as a claimed amount.</p> |
