PURPOSE: An input method for controlling a three-dimensional movement and a device thereof are provided to sense a movement of a track ball using at least two sensors and control a three-dimensional rotation of an object on a computer screen using the sensing process. CONSTITUTION: After an operation mode is set(301), if a user moves a ball(302), a three-dimensional angular velocity is calculated by sensors(303). It is checked whether the mode is a three-dimensional rotation mode or a three-dimensional movement mode(304). If the mode is a three-dimensional rotation mode, a signal for controlling a three-dimensional rotation corresponded to a rotation movement which is decided by the calculated angular velocity is output(305). If the mode is a three-dimensional movement mode, a signal for performing a mapping of a three-dimensional movement by a value corresponded to a direction and size of the calculated angular velocity is output(306,307). |
