The sacks are made in a line joined together edge to edge. The sack openings are located along one side of the line and have hemmed edges with drawstrings. Each drawstring is fixed to one edge of a sack and accessed through a cut-out at the opposite edge. The sacks (1a - 1e), e.g. for domestic refuse, are made in a line joined together edge to edge (4, 4a, 5a, 5b, 4b, 4c, 5c, 5d, 4d, 4e). The sack openings (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) are located along one side of the line and have hemmed edges (7) with drawstrings (8). Each drawstring is fixed to one edge of a sack and accessed through a cut-out (9) at the opposite edge. The cut-outs are made at regular intervals along the line corresponding to the width of the sacks, and the drawstrings are in two strands joined at the point of the cut-outs. |
