PURPOSE: A method for transmitting an item through a communication network is provided to transmit files or items possessed by individuals interactively through a wireless terminal and the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter selects one out of possessed files and items obtained through the Internet for transmitting to a receiver(S10). The transmitter inputs an inherent number of the receiver to a mobile communication company/server using one's wireless terminal or PC(S20). It is checked whether the inputted inherent number, that is, a telephone number of a wireless terminal is a valid number or not. If the inherent number is inputted to the server, it is checked whether the inherent number, that is, an inherent ID of the server is a service available user ID or not(S30). In the case that the checked inherent number is an available number, an approval message is transmitted to the transmitter, and a corresponding file and item is transmitted from the wireless terminal or the PC of the transmitter to a wireless terminal or a PC of the receiver(S40).
