METHOD FOR ARBITRATION BETWEEN DATABASE AND APPLICATION PROGRAM IN COMPUTER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for arbitration between a database and an application program in a computer system is provided to make an application program access a database in a database system which does not support an SQL(Structured Query Language) with respect to a program language which embodies an application program. CONSTITUTION: An application program transmits a message for requesting a database job to an arbitration program using an IPC(Inter-Processor Communication) or a socket communication(S10). The arbitration program performs a job requested by the application program(S20). That is, the arbitration program directly accesses a database system using a JDBC(Java Database Connectivity) driver and requests a job as a modification or an inquiry of database data. Continuously, the database system responds to the request of the arbitration program and transmits an insertion/deletion/change result of data or inquiry-requested data. The arbitration program transmits a response received from the database system to the application program using an IPC or a socket communication(S30).
