medicine, pharmaceutical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicinal preparations containing radioactive substances. Method involves irradiation of yttrium oxide by fast neutrons, dissolving the obtained mixture of isotopes in acid and chemical isolation of the end product from solution with acidity from 1.5 to 4.5 M by sorption on strontium-specific sorbent. In special cases the following crown-ethers applied on a solid carrier are used as strontium-specific sorbents: 18-crown-6, dicyclohexano-18-crown-6, dicyclo-hexano-18-crown-6 with hydrophobic substitutes. It is possible to use the following crown-ethers applied on a solid carrier as strontium-specific sorbents: dicyclohexano-18- crown-6 containing alkyl substitutes, in part, crown-ether 4,4'(5')-di-(tert.-butylcyclohexano)-18-crown-6. Polymer of polyacrylate structure or copolymer of styrene with divinylbenzene is used as a solid carrier. Invention can be used for therapy of oncological diseases and for production of beta-sources using in instrument making and biological investigations.
