<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of separating metal and inorganic particles from metallic inorganic particle composite material which is capable of efficiently recovering the metal of high purity by simple operations regardless of the composition of the metallic inorganic particle composite materials, more preferably the kind of the metal. SOLUTION: The metallic inorganic particle composite materials 1 are heated to form a melt 2 and a flux 3 is fed into the melt 2. After both are brought into sufficient contact with each other, the melt is made to stand still and is separated to an upper layer containing the inorganic particles 2a and a lower layer consisting of the metal 2b. The upper layer and the lower layer are then discretely recovered.</p> |
