PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shearing type rotary crusher wherein a scraper can be easily cleaned using a simple construction. SOLUTION: In the crusher, the proximal ends of scrapers 10 are respectively mounted to rotation axes 8a, 8b provided obliquely below rotation axes 2a, 2b disposed horizontally in a casing 1, and each of the forward ends of the scrapers 10 is brought, from below, closely to the outer circumferential surface of each of spacer rings 4 fitted respectively on the rotation axes 2a, 2b, alternately with rotary blades 3, so as to be retracted downwards, whereby for cleaning the scrapers 10, the forward ends of the scrapers are retracted so as not hinder the blades 3 so that wastes wound around the scrapers 10 can be easily removed, and at the same time, the removed wastes can be easily discharged from a discharge port 1b.
