PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress having cushion materials and external shape fitting to a body and is convenient to carry. SOLUTION: This mattress 1 comprises a head and foot mat 20, a waist and back mat 30 and a mat 40 for adjustment and arbitrary combinations thereof are possible. The head and foot mat 20 consists of a head mat 21, a foot mat 22 and a coupling 23 (not packed with cushion materials) made of cloth for connecting both mats. The head mat 21 and the foot mat 22 are both constructed by putting the cushion materials 25 into cloth cover 24 made of cotton materials, etc. The cushion materials 25 are many small pieces which are body pressure dispersing materials made of urethane and are made of blanks which are easily changeable in the shapes by the body temperature or body pressure and have the viscoelsticity to make the shapes slowly restorable to the original state. Since the cushion materials are many small pieces, the mattress can be adapted to the body position of a user.
