PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manned rice transplanter capable of protecting the lower surface of a traveling transmission part by a lower frame (71), and capable of eliminating the defect such as the slipperiness of the upper surface of a step at the rear part of a body cover (12) on which an operator carries out a supplying operation by putting a foot thereon, caused by muddy water. SOLUTION: This manned rice transplanter having a transplanting part (15) mounted on the rear part of a traveling vehicle (1) so as to be freely lifted and lowered, and front and rear wheels (6) and (8) mounted through front and rear axel cases (5) and (7) is characterized in that the axel cases (5) and (7) for attaching the front and rear wheels (6) and (8) are connected by upper and lower frames (3) and (71), a rear frame (72) is stood on the rear side of the upper frame (3), and the rear part of the body cover (12) forming the step at the rear side of a driver's seat (13) is formed so as to be higher than the front side and so as to be supported by the rear frame (72).
