PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder having a simple constitution which can stably supply a proper voltage to a heater without setting an impressing means with variable resistance, a power supply voltage variable means, or the like. SOLUTION: There are provided a plurality of nozzles arranges arranged to a recording head 214, a plurality of energy generation means 1-1, 1-2,..., n-4 set corresponding to the nozzles for generating a discharge energy for discharging ink from each of the nozzles, and driving control means (209 and 220) which divide the plurality of energy generation means to a plurality of blocks and drive the blocks simultaneously. The driving control means supply the energy via a different energy supply path Vh119 (119-1, 119-2, 119-3, 119-4) to the energy generation means constituting each of the blocks.
