METHOD FOR TREATING BORON-CONTAINING WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating boron-containing water by which boron can be efficiently removed from high concentration boron-containing water. SOLUTION: Boron-containing water is adjusted in the range of pH 10-12.5 in the presence of aluminum ions, sulfuric acid ions and calcium ions which are reaction compounds and a deposited precipitate is removed. The molar ratio among aluminum, sulfuric acid and calcium to 1 mol contained boron is about 1:1.5:4.5.
