SOLUTION: This cylinder bed has an almost horizontally extended form and has a throat plate which has a feed dog teeth hole on the upper face and is fixed on the cylinder bed so as to cover the upper side of the tip end face of the cylinder bed, a throat plate mount which has cut-offs formed on the lower face and under the tip end face and is fixed on the cylinder bed so as to cover the lower side of the tip end face of the cylinder bed and a cover which is detachably equipped on the throat plate mount so as to cover the cut-offs of the throat plate mount, air against the bobbin case 56 from the lower side of the shuttle 52.
