PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen point of a marking pen, with which a stable writing is realized, a certain handwriting breadth is obtained and, in addition, the adhesion of ink to a ruler can be prevented from developing and a manufacturing cost is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the pen point 1 for the marking pen, a binder resin is adhered within a fiber bundle and solidified and, in addition, the binder resin is adhered to the outer peripheral part of the fiber bundle and solidified, resulting in forming a non-liquid penetrable outer skin 3. The pickup of the binder resin in the outer peripheral part of the fiber bundle is made much more than that in its interior.
