发明名称 METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING BEER YEASTS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately discriminating a brewing bottom yeast and a wild-type one each other. SOLUTION: This method for identifying a beer yeast includes the following steps: (1) synthesizing primers capable of amplifying a linkage part for (A) a base sequence consisting of a part of the N-terminal side of yeast Lg-FLO1 gene and (B) a base sequence consisting of a part of yeast IXth chromosome in (C) a new gene in which (B) is linked to the downstream of (A) and which contains base sequence(s) shown by sequence no.1 to 6 of the sequence table (see Specification), (2) carrying out PCR(polymerase chain reaction) using primers synthesized in step 1 and a DNA isolated from a yeast of interest, and (3) determining whether the yeast is a brewing bottom yeast or a wild-type one judging from PCR amplification products obtained in step 2.
