PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towel rack which is small in the number of parts, is low in cost, and is simple in mounting and constructing. SOLUTION: The towel rack having an annular towel hanger 10 and a main body 12 is provided with notched parts 14 configured to open at outer flanks and fronts on the main body 12. The main body 12 is provided with fixing holes 16 which open at the base surfaces of the notched parts 14 and penetrate the main body 12 in a longitudinal direction. Mounting screws 18 are inserted into the fixing holes 16 from the front to the rear and the main body 12 is fixed to a mounting base body 19 with the mounting screws 18. On the other hand, holding holes 20 which open at the inner flanks of the notched parts 14 are formed at the main body 12 and an insertion ends 22 of the bar-shape towel hanger 10 are inserted into the holding holes 20 through the notched parts 14 and are held thereto. The mounting screws 18 are concealed by the ends of the towel hanger 10.
