PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing bottom plate that prevents deformation of packing members due to fastening forces of binding bands and securely fixes the packing members by the binding bands. SOLUTION: Notches 3A and 3B are respectively made in the left and right front corners of a front upper lateral beam 3 of the packing bottom plate 2. The notches 3A and 3B are respectively used for attaching wiring covers 9 to corresponding hinge members 5. After a refrigerator 1 is affixed on the packing bottom plate 2 and the wiring covers 9 are respectively attached to the hinge members 5, mounting members 15A and 15B are fastened to notches 3A and 3B, respectively, by means of flat screws 32, and end members 33 are respectively fitted in the notches 3A and 3B. Thereafter the refrigerator 1 is covered with a vinyl cover 11 and side plates 12 and 13 are respectively attached to left and right sides of the packing bottom plate 2 by means of staples 17. Next, a corrugated board box 16 is placed over the side plates 12 and 13 from above. Then, the binding bands 18 are respectively stretched across the undersides of the upper lateral beams 3 and 14 from the fronts of the side plates 12 and 13 and are respectively tied tightly.
