Feeler device for positional changes e.g. of nuclear fuel elements - with scriber point on recording cylinder and ratchet turning sleeve

A feeler device with a registration of positioned changes between components, e.g. between the heads of nuclear fuel elements and the grating retaining them, consists of a tube in which a spring loaded stem can slide axially. A registration cylinder surrounding the stem is a base on which a scriber point marks any relative displacement. The device has a purely mechanical action which is not affected by high temperatures and pressures like conventional inductive position pickups.
