摘要 <p>Ethylene homo-and copolymers with 3-6C olefins are prepd. by (co)polymerisation in an aliphatic hydrocarbon at 50-80 degrees C and =10 atm. in the presence of a catalyst comprising TiCl4 (I), a Ti alkoxide (II) and a alkyl aluminium mixt. (III) in a mol. ratio of (II):(I) 0.051:1-0.5:1 and a mol ratio of (III):(I) of 0.05:1-5:1. (III) is a mixt. of a dialkyl aluminium hydride AlR2H and a trialkyl aluminium AlR3 (where R is Et, Pr or i-Bu) in a mol ratio of 1.5:1-6:1.6:1. The catalyst has improved activity raising productivity. Prodn. times can be elevated to 1000 hrs. or more before the appts. has to be cleaned of polymer scale. Copolymers can be produced at rates close to that of the homopolymer and polymers with predetermined mol. wt. distributions may be obtd. The polymers have high density, mol. wt., ash content, and strength. Prods. may be applied in a wide range of uses.</p>
