<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective utilization system for animal excrement or surplus industrial perishable foodstuffs, which enables the conservation of future natural environment and generation of clean energy. SOLUTION: The process using this effective utilization system comprises: separating waste containing animal excrement, etc., discharged from a livestock barn, into separated solid matter and liquid matter with a press 13; composting the separated solid matter in composting facilities 14, or subjecting the separated solid matter to carbonization treatment in a carbonization furnace 15; introducing the liquid into a fermenter 16 and circulating (or supplying) hot water from a power generator 19 through (or to) the fermenter 16, to heat the liquid in the fermenter 16 and thereby to generate gaseous methane inside the fermenter 16; supplying a digested liquid remaining in the fermenter 16 to the composting facilities 14; subjecting the gaseous methane to moisture removal and hydrogen sulfide removal treatment and thereafter storing the treated gaseous methane in a gas holder 18; driving the generator 19 with the gaseous methane as a fuel to obtain the hot water (used for the fermenter 16) and electric power; and further, supplying the exhaust gas of the generator 19 to the composting facilities 14, to supply air to the digested liquid in the composting facilities 14 and also to heat the digested liquid.</p> |
