LOCK RELEASE DEVICE FOR MOTORCYCLE TANK CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock release device for a motorcycle tank cap allowing easy release of the tank cap without getting-off from a motorcycle. SOLUTION: In the motorcycle having a lock mechanism for locking an installation state of the tank cap 24 installed/uninstalled to/from a fueling port of a fuel tank, key operation force on a main switch 6 is transmitted to the lock mechanism through a wire 26, and the lock mechanism is operated to release the locking of the tank cap 24. Thereby, since the locking of the tank cap 24 can be released by the key operation of the main switch 6, a rider can easily release the locking of the tank cap 24 and can supply fuel while he/she rides on the motorcycle.
