Proposed method comes to the following: first parts are arranged in magazine in several rows and then required number of parts for following operation is separated and set is made up delivering parts from magazine storage place to making up position arranged on way of delivery of parts into working zone. Parts are arranged inside magazine in separate cells, and are delivered to making up position in step-by-step manner moving each part only within the limits of magazine. Making up of parts for other processing operation selected from different rows of magazine is carried out by placing them simultaneously in making up position made in form of empty cells of each row of magazine arranged in line directed towards working zone with substitution of empty cells of corresponding row of magazine. Installation for making set of parts has magazine divided into rows each, accommodating the parts and mechanism to transfer parts to line directed to working zone. Mechanism is made in form of number of parallel independent continuous indexing conveyors with cells for separate parts. One row of cells, one cell at each independent continuous indexing conveyor, located on one line inside magazine and directed to working zone is formed by empty cells. All independent continuous indexing conveyors play the part of mechanism delivering parts to line directed to working zone.
