PERMANENT JOINT FOR LINED TUBES

pipe line transport; oil producing and petrochemical industries; erection of pipe lines working under pressure of up to 20 MPa. SUBSTANCE: permanent joint includes pipe, polymer envelope, protector, end-piece and edge. End-pieces are mounted at projection at butt of tubes by approximately 1.5 to 2 mm. Bevel angle is equal to 30 deg. In connecting tube with the aid of such joint, welding is effected without clearance between projections. EFFECT: reduced amount of welding material; improved quality of weld seam; enhanced durability of lined surface. 1 dwg
